PSE&G to National Park Service: Don’t change route of planned power line upgrade project

Two utilities seeking to upgrade a transmission line from Pennsylvania through parts of Morris County to Roseland on Monday affirmed that their chosen route, through the existing corridor, is the best and least disruptive alternative.

PSE&G installing solar panels in Hillsborough

HILLSBOROUGH — Solar panels have been installed on Public Service Electric & Gas poles scattered throughout the township as part of the company’s statewide effort to increase solar capacity and provide the benefits of renewable power to electric customers.

New Jersey Plans Doubling of Solar Power

PSE&G Solar, a subsidiary of the big New Jersey utility, said Wednesday that received a regulatory go-ahead to add 80 megawatts of solar capacity in its territory by the end of 2013, effectively doubling the amount of solar power in the state.
