Easton adopts fuel-efficient policy for town vehicles

Town officials will be driving more energy-efficient, town-owned vehicles in the near future, bringing the town a step closer to being a one of the state’s designated “Green Communities.” Selectmen unanimously voted Monday night to adopt a fuel-efficient vehicle policy, which would require the town to purchase only fuel-efficient vehicles for municipal use in the future.
