Nissan on Saturday night unveiled the Leaf, a battery-powered four-door hatchback with a range of 100 miles and a top speed of 87 miles an hour. The Japanese automaker described the Leaf, which is set to hit the United States market in the latter half of 2010, as the first “real-world” electric car.
