China carbon capture costs worth paying: U.S. energy sec

Labor Department Grants $7.5M for Veterans’ Green Job Training

U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis last week announced 17 grants, totaling more than $7.5 million dollars, to provide approximately 3,000 veterans with green job training.

Fields of employment include energy efficiency and renewable energy, modern electric-power development and clean vehicles.

Clean Technology Investment Rebounds

Clean and green entrepreneurs move on to compete for $1 million in prizes and national title.

Clean Tech Open today announced the 12 regional semi-finalists in its clean tech business plan competition. The 2009 Clean Tech Open competition includes more than a $1 million in total prizes and a “100K Jobs Challenge” to create 100,000 clean tech jobs in America over the next five years.
